Set within the leafy suburbs of Greenhithe, in Dartford, Haslington Lodge is an impressive 46 bed residential care home providing 24 hour care assistance for the elderly and those diagnosed with dementia.
We focus on positively maintaining residents’ skills and abilities, encouraging recreational fulfilment and dignified independence, whilst being supported with genuine care and concern.
There are three units where residents with different stages of dependency levels can live with like-minded others. The smaller units create a much more familiar and homely environment where everyone can live harmoniously, and as independently as possible as part of one big family.
With a particular focus on dignified independence, each unit has a kitchen area where residents can meet and interact with their guests and family members allowing the freedom to make a cup of tea, or small snack, in the safety and comfort of a dementia friendly environment.
The Haslington Lodge care team are highly trained and skilled carers who are qualified to understand the complexity of dementia and the difficulties that may present to each individual with the disease.
Taking our specialist knowledge further, we are working with the nationally recognised Bradford University Dementia Group to become a centre of dementia care excellence in Kent.
Having worked at Haslington Lodge for 25 years, Frances has extensive experience in the care industry. She has achieved her Registered Managers Award (RMA) as well as a Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care.
A couple of Frances' favourite things to do are going shopping for some retail therapy and socialising with her friends.
At Belmont Healthcare we have a transparent fee structure which is based on our needs assessment of each individual - prices vary based on this and who is the funding partner whether this is through private means, therefore, agreed directly or through the Local Authority which agreed through our framework contracts with each party (please see our FAQs page for more support on funding).

The staff are lovely and mum is much happier here than her last place. Always very clean and fresh. Mum has put on weight and is much more relaxed and not as stressed. The staff are very caring and good with mum and I would recommend to anyone. I visit at all different times unannounced and care is always of the same standard.
Staff are so friendly and make us feel very welcome, very easy to talk to.
