About Belmont Day Centre

Belmont Day Centre is a purpose built day care centre in the grounds of Madeira Lodge in Littlestone.

Facilitating day care for older people and those living with dementia, Belmont Day Centre is a place for companionship and short-term daily respite that provides a place to meet, take part, and just be.

Accessible to both social service and privately funded individuals, the Day Centre acts as a vital community link for those living on their own, people who are being cared for, and people that are carers.

Our fleet of minibuses offer a collection and drop-off service and are there to make sure everyone, no matter how isolated, can come along and take part in the plethora of activities on offer.

Sit down and have a comforting meal, or simply have a dignified assisted showering experience in a specific bathroom designed to aid those with mobility and cognitive difficulties. Whatever the need everyone is catered for in a friendly and sociable environment.

Ensuring everyone receives the care and attention they deserve the personal needs of individuals accessing the Centre are assessed by our highly skilled and qualified team of carers in consultation with carers, families, and importantly those using the services themselves.

Should the time come, this service is a great way to experience what it’s actually like to part of a care home community, and can aid the smooth transition into long term residential care when the time comes.
