Memberships and Associations we are active contributors within.
In our pursuit for excellence in Care it has been paramount to us as an organisation to be involved actively in groups which support care and those surrounding Adult Social care. We have active roles in Kent with The Care Workers charity and are part of cabinet discussion on adult social care reform within Kent County Council.
Managing Director Adam Hutchison is an advocate and vice chairperson of the Kent Integrated Care Alliance regionally, and nationally is involved with both the Care Association Alliance and the Alzheimer's Society.
Charity Involvements and Social Responsibility
While offering care support services at Belmont Healthcare Group we actively aim to raise money where possible to help support Dementia based charities - for example Director Adam Hutchison Cycled from London to Paris for the charity raising over £4500 independently and £98,000 in total for the entire cycle.
Adam Hutchison is also a Board of Trustees Member for the Care Workers Charity - https://www.thecareworkerscharity.org.uk/Pages/Appeal/
Adam entered the sector in 2011 taking over two care homes, which soon expanded to four High Needs Dementia Care homes in the South East including extended services operating Day Care Services and Home Care Services in the Community of both Kent and East Sussex. The group continues to evolve and expand further across the UK with new sites currently being planned.
Adam is also an active member of the Trade Association community as the Chair of Accommodation Solutions at Kent Integrated Care Alliance (KiCA) and a board member of the National Care Association Alliance (CAA), raising strategic issues for local providers within the national scope.
Adam joined the Care Workers Charity because of his passion for the teams he employs and the ability to develop a wider message about the important job Care Workers do in the community. Adam hopes the Charity is a catalyst to encourage change in the sector and develop a greater awareness of the role they play. He strongly believes a Charity is missing in this sector to offer a true rounded support network for those who work within it.
As a Trustee Adam brings care sector operational experience and a wealth of key links to the Trade Association community in the sector. Also as a sales and marketing professional in Corporate Telecommunications before entering the sector he brings an outside view of the sector approaches with a keen sense of making a change for the good.
