The wonders of technology have made a huge difference during this pandemic and lockdown for our residents, and for David, our Drag Racing enthusiast, he couldn’t have been happier to watch his beloved sport online.
The fuel-injected sport sees some of fastest accelerating land vehicles in the world. All the sounds and sights of this high-octane motorsport fill the senses; the only thing missing is the smell of the rubber burning and the fuel!
Theresa Toal, Care Home Manager at Edendale Lodge Care Home says: “It means everything to us and our residents that they can live in their home here at Edendale Lodge and maintain those much cherished routines and hobbies. For David, to watch drag racing seems like such a insignificant thing, but for us it really demonstrates Edendale Lodge really is home from home for our residents and as such they can do exactly as they please.”
Expressing our affection and love for our friends and families we crafted Valentines Day messages and hearts to decorate our homes.
This year, particularly, we held this very special day in our hearts as we think of the loved ones we can’t spend time with, and those who are no longer with us.
In true Belmont style we embracing the day and celebrated in our own way. We hope you enjoyed yours!
