We are delighted to share that our team has achieved remarkable recognition at the prestigious Kent Integrated Care Alliance (KiCA) Awards 2025, taking home three awards that showcase our commitment to excellence in adult social care across Kent.
The awards ceremony, held on Friday evening, celebrated outstanding contributions to care across the region.
Congratulations to our team, including:
- Hayley Grant, Clinical Service Lead and Deputy Manager at Wombwell Hall Care Home, received the ‘Palliative Care’ Award, highlighting Hayley’s exceptional skill and compassion in providing end-of-life care.
- Our Pickwick Wing team at Wombwell Hall Care Home, who picked up the ‘Residential Care Team (OPPD)’ Award. This recognition speaks to the collaborative approach that defines quality care delivery, and our Pickwick Wing team demonstrated how their collective effort, shared values, and coordinated care planning can create an environment where residents thrive.
- Joseph Barnes, our Finance Assistant in our Head Office team, won the ‘Ancillary Worker (Back Office)’ Award in recognition of the quality care that extends far beyond direct patient interaction.
Collecting these awards is a huge achievement for our organisation and reflects more than individual achievements; it demonstrates our commitment to supporting the care journey of every resident, family, and the wider community, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team.
Community impact and recognition
The Kent Integrated Care Alliance is a collaborative social enterprise helping to shape the future of social care and health in Kent and Medway. The awards serve as a vital platform for recognising excellence in care across the region, and they, once again, did an incredible job of running an excellent awards programme and ceremony.
These awards matter not only for the recognition they provide but also for their role in setting standards and inspiring continuous improvement across Kent’s care sector.
The success also reflects positively on the wider care community in Kent, demonstrating that the region is home to care providers who are setting standards for excellence.
