Madeira Lodge is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our nightshift team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing person-centred care and support tailored to each resident’s individual needs. It’s a role that’s all about empowering others to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life, and is particularly well suited to those with a passion for supporting others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting residents to attend appointments and engage in community activities.
- Encouraging independence amongst our residents.
- Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
- Providing nutritional support, which includes meal preparation.
- Undertaking household duties to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, oral care, and toileting.
- Helping residents with mobility issues, using aids like hoists and standing aids as necessary.
- Providing companionship, thereby enhancing the emotional well-being of residents.
- Safeguarding residents and ensuring their overall well-being.
