_Typical duties may include:

  • Liaising with colleagues and management to ensure that nutritional needs are met
  • Ordering of supplies
  • Keeping accurate records of food/supplies delivered
  • Ensuring the kitchen area meets health & safety standards
  • Managing kitchen staff rotas
  • Creating a menu with a variety of options to suit all residents needs and choices
  • Managing a budget
  • Cooking a variety of meals for residents

The ideal Chef will:

  • Have previous Chef experience
  • Have a qualification in food preparation and cooking
  • Be organised
  • Be capable of overseeing a team
