Coffee morning produces good conversation

Joining the Rev Charlie Lloyd Evans during a church hall coffee morning, residents at Haslington Lodge Care Home had the opportunity to join other members of the community for a good natter.

The Care Home embraced the invitation to join in at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Swanscombe, which provided everyone with the perfect opportunity to spread a little happiness with as they handed out the Belmont Healthcare book of BIG jokes.

Tracey Crittenden, Activities Coordinator at Haslington Lodge Care Home says: “Joining the coffee morning was a lovely opportunity for us to join in with community activities, meet people, and have new conversations whilst having a cuppa with cake.

It also gave us the opportunity to spread a little humour through copies of our very own self-published joke book. The jokes must have been good as we have been invited back, something we are certainly looking forward to doing.”
