Battle Age UK and Catsfield Sausage Shop are getting behind Edendale Lodge Care Home's Winter Warmers campaign to ward off the cost of living crisis.

Called Winter Warmers, the Care Home is opening its doors to every member of the community who would like to benefit from a warm space but also good company, conversation, and refreshments.

Both shops have proudly displayed the Winter Warmers campaign poster in their shop windows in a bid to raise awareness and encourage people to take advantage of the amazing opportunity.

Zoe Kendall, Manager at Edendale Care Home says: “We want to be good neighbours and help those in our community manage the potential hardship of this Winter. Our home is warm and incredibly friendly, it’s the least we can do to support everyone. What could be better than that during these cold dreary months.”

The open-door policy throughout is there for anyone who wants to pass the time, meet new friends, and use fewer draining resources in their own home.

A cuppa and slice of cake, or for those who would rather, soup and roll is being offered. The only thing the care home asks for is a £1 donation towards the Care Workers' Charity.

If you can't get to Edendale Lodge don't worry, a FREE local mini-bus pickup service operates on Thursdays.
