At Edendale Lodge Care Home, our team provide a community hub in the picturesque village of Crowhurst, East Sussex, regularly hosting intergenerational activities that bridge the gap between residents and local schoolchildren, creating meaningful connections through reading programs, craft sessions, and gardening projects that benefit both the elderly and the young. The initiatives and projects our team deliver not only support our residents in leading a happy and fulfilled life, but also foster understanding and respect across generations within the Crowhurst community.
Every year, we open our doors for community events, transforming our gardens and common spaces into venues for seasonal fairs, fundraisers, and workshops that bring together members of the community and our residents. This includes operating an outreach program where our care professionals and more able residents volunteer their time and skills to support other elderly individuals across the local community. Through our efforts, Edendale Lodge has established itself as not only one of the highly respected care homes in the area but also a cornerstone of community support and engagement in East Sussex.
