Bad weather doesn't stop us from going out

We’ve had some terrible weather lately but that isn’t stopping us from going out and enjoying the fresh air, the sights, and each others company.

On what was a wet and stormy day we all got wrapped up to go for minibus ride to the River Medway and cross the famous Rochester Bridge.

Taking in the river views we approached the historic City of Rochester to see  England’s largest secondhand bookshop and drive through the City for more historic site sightseeing.

Clare Swan, Head of Quality and Compliance says:  “Concerns about the pandemic are ever increasing, visitation to our care homes are limited to only essential visits so it’s really important we get the opportunity to go outside in what ever way we can. Thankfully we have our own minibus, which means in our care home bubble we can still benefit from the joy of seeing the sights, and even enjoy extreme weather whilst being covid safe.”
