Belmont healthcare olympic games set to begin next month

Welcoming the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games Belmont Healthcare will be participating in their very own Belmont Healthcare Olympic Games during the week of 2-8th August.

Care home teams across the group are currently busy training hard as are the torchbearers who are currently passing the Belmont torch from each of their care homes in Kent and East Sussex getting ready for its resting place in the West Midlands in early August.

All staff and residents have been in training and looking forward to the last torchbearer receiving the torch when the games will commence.

The egg and spoon race from Madeira Lodge Care Home are tipped to be favourites with the team vowing to be going for gold. However it could be anyone’s game as the other care home teams have ramped up security and keeping their training under wraps.

Keep your eyes peeled on our social media where you’ll see the individual team developments and the much anticipated medal status.

Bring it on and let the Belmont Healthcare Olympic Games begin!
