Across the Belmont Healthcare Group remembrance takes on special meaning who stood shoulder to shoulder are honoured.
From a special poppy window display at Madeira Lodge Care Home, to their very own poppy tree of remembrance at Haslington Lodge Care Home, everyone has put special effort into recognising those men and women who fought for our freedom.
Special reminiscence events have also been held throughout the duration of the week, where personal experiences of World War II and post war memories have been shared and remembered.
