Commonwealth games inspire belmont healthcare

After watching the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, we felt inspired to continue taking part in our own Commonwealth Games themed activities.

Officially opened by HRH Prince Charles, we watched intently with our version of a baton used in the Queen’s relay and sat back to watch the spectacle unfold as competitors from the Commonwealth’s 72 nations and territories were cheered into the arena by a 30,000 crowd.

We also held a Commonwealth themed quiz which tested out our knowledge and history of the games. Do you know what the Commonwealth Games motto is?

We do!

"Humanity,Equality, Destiny"

Adam Hutchison, Managing Director of Belmont Healthcare Group: “The event is quite personal for us. As a Birmingham based company we are incredibly proud to have the games in the great city. In fact, we are so happy, that we have sponsored a local cricket club, Moseley Cricket Club, which just so happens to be the training ground for women’s T20 Cricket.”
