Community college donate face shields to grateful care staff

Claverham Community College has generously donated personal protective face shields to the care workers at Edendale Lodge care home in Crowhurst.

The College’s thoughful Design Technology Department generously packed a dozen re-useable face shields for staff to wear in the hope of providing some form of reassurance and additional safety measure in the fight against COVID-19.

Theresa Toal, registered manager at Edendale Lodge says: “It is really comforting to know the community is looking out for us. The face shields will definitely provide additional comfort during these really difficult times. We thank the College for thinking of us, such community spirit and gratitude right now is so heartening to see.”
