Customer feedback gets full hearing

In a recent customer feedback survey we asked everyone who has made our homes their home, and their family and friends, if there is anything about our service and facilities we can improve.

You said you would like a quicker response to your emails and more regular updates on your relative in our care via email.  We responded by enabling access to additional members of staff to aid in making a response quicker. In addition relatives who prefer email updates on family members are now in action with plans to launch a login portal called PCS gateway by the end on 2022 for families.

You told us some aspects of our furnishing and décor needed improving. Refurbishment plans are in place in all our homes with a comprehensive decorating schedule agreed. New furniture, soft furnishings and curtains have been purchased with work expected to be complete by Autumn 2022.

You asked if our gardens could be improved. We responded with complete garden overhauls at Haslington Lodge and Madeira Lodge Care Homes resulting in easy access and fully furnished and landscaped gardens for everyone to enjoy.
