Elf Day certainly was not cancelled at Madeira Lodge care home where embracing their inner elf and dressing up to impress was just the festive actvitiy to participate in during what is the season of giving.
Elf Day is an Alzheimer’s Society event designed for festive fun whilst highlighting the charity’s work and need to raise funds so they can continue to help and support people affected by dementia.
Sarah Pennington, care home manager at Madeira Lodge Care Home says: “Really embracing the day the outfits were amazing and the Grinch even paid us a visit but we didn’t let him steal Christmas! It was all good fun, and all for a very good cause that is close to our hearts.”
