Ducks are top of the bill during charity race

Belmont Healthcare are going quackers for fundraising as they take part in the Rotary Club Dover 10th anniversary charity duck race on the 27th August.

Part of the Kearsney Abbey family fun day, the duck race is a Rotary initiative to raise money for their 100th year anniversary charity project to take 100 disadvantaged children on a day trip to remember.

Belmont Healthcare have sponsored one corporate blue duck in each heat, of which there are ten. The race will run simultaneously with the family fun day duck race whose ducks will be yellow.

Roger Knight, President of the Rotary Club of Dover says: “We would like to thank Adam Hutchison, Managing Director of Belmont Healthcare, for his kind sponsorship. Our aim is to raise £5,000 which will start the charity fund with a further 10 months of fundraising until the planned trip in June 2023.”

Adam Hutchison, Managing Director of Belmont Healthcare says: “We are very proud to be supporting such a historic moment for the Rotary Club Dover, marking their 100th anniversary we hope our contribution will go some way to them reaching their charitable goals to help disadvantaged children in the town.”
