Learning and development becomes a full time role at belmont healthcare group

Bringing continuous professional development to over one hundred Belmont Healthcare employees is Bianca Sargent, the company’s dedicated in-house training and development manager.

The appointment marks the Group’s commitment to focus its business operations on continuous professional development to cultivate a growing care group based on the best quality care staff with the most up-to-date knowledge and social care training.

Bianca Sargent, comments on her new role as a training and development manager:

“I’m very much looking forward to implementing my cycle of continuous training within the group. I have seen how training is designed and delivered in the social care sector, and it can be very stale and not very inspiring.

“I’ll be adopting a completely different strategy. Of course we have a compliance requirement to ensure our training is up to date, but it isn’t just about that. This is about inspiring employees to learn and develop within their own roles and grow as professionals.”

Commenting on the recent appointment Adam Hutchison, managing director at Belmont Healthcare Group says: “Working in the care sector is often underrated as a career. Not at Belmont Healthcare, we take care work very seriously, and for our employees it isn’t just a job, it’s a vocation of dedication.

“This is why we have invested in ensuring our employees receive continuous professional development, we are developing one of the most skilled and knowledgeable care teams in the sector and are very excited about delivering our bespoke training to achieve this.”

Belmont Healthcare offers multiple forms of long, short, respite or day care for those in need, specialising in Dementia, Parkinson’s and Specialist Elderly Support situated in delightful settings around the coastal areas of Kent and East Sussex.
