The winner of the annual Belmont Healthcare sunflower rowing competition has been announced, drum roll please…
…and the winner is Madeira Lodge Care Home.
After visiting the care home gardens of Edendale Lodge, Haslington Lodge, and Madeira Lodge, Managing Director Adam Hutchison with his young daughter finally agreed that the 20 plus sunflowers at Madeira Lodge Care Home were the winners.
Adam Hutchison, Managing Director of Belmont Healthcare says: “We had a great time viewing the flowers across the group, however there was a clear winner. The sunflowers at Madeira Lodge Care Home were still in full bloom and had bees nesting in them. Thank you to everyone for embracing the competition and bringing a ray of permanent sunshine to our care home gardens.”
