Sandbanks Lodge care home pampers its way through the coronavirus lockdown as it replicates a luxury spa day for residents.
Residents were treated to a menu of spa treatments ranging from revitalizing facials, soothing hand and foot treatments, and manicures for the ultimate in relaxation and wellness.
Liz Tart, registered care manager at Sandbanks Lodge says: “Our residents are taking the coronavirus lockdown in their stride but they are missing the opportunity to see loved ones and friends in the flesh.
Like all of us, it isn’t easy, which is why we decided to treat our residents to a spa day with unsurpassed pampering to lift spirits and provide an all round good feeling of wellbeing and positivity. As you can see the pampering was very well received.”
