Remembrance takes on special meaning

Join us and take the time to hold a two minute silence at 11am on the 11th and 14th of November to mark the service and sacrifice many people have made defending our freedom and protecting our way of life.

We’ll be paying our respects and standing shoulder to shoulder on Remembrance Day, and Remembrance Sunday, as well as taking the time in the run-up to make our own poppies and remembrance decorations.

Special to us will be the many reminiscence sessions we’ll be taking part in to discuss our memories from the World War II and post war life. From rationing to evacuation we have a lot of memories between us to share and discuss, we hope you’ll be doing the same too.
