The care workers charity launches new childcare grant

The Care Workers' Charity trustee, and Belmont Healthcare Managing Director, Adam Hutchison is taking this opportunity to share and raise awareness of the charity’s latest grant support for care workers.

Called the Child Care Costs grant, it has been launched exclusively for care workers covering child care costs, (including retrospectively, from 23rd Mar 2020) up to £2,000.

Adam Hutchison says: “There are a lot of care workers who really struggle with the demands of balancing work and family life. Childcare can be impossible to source and fund forcing some into a situation where they have no choice but to care for their children rather than go to work. No one should be put into that situation, which is why I am very happy to annouce the charity has recognised this need and is helping to support those who need help.”

The Care Workers’ Charity exists to create the support structures that people need whilst actively promoting the immense contribution that the UK’s care workers make to our society. The CWC vision is to create a UK where no care worker faces financial hardship alone.

There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces. They spend their careers assisting others, but when circumstances change, sometimes it is the care workers who need help.

Help Adam and The Care Workers' Charity continue to support care workers in need. Any help you can give will go a long way. Please donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/coronaviruscareworkersfund
