Bringing joy and laughter back into our lives is the recently published BIG Book of Jokes from Belmont Healthcare, and with jokes like ‘what sits at the bottom of the sea and twitches? A nervous wreck!’ you can’t help but laugh.
In what could be a care home group first, the reader is guided through the pages by comic book hero,Captain Belmont and friends, leading you from hilarious joke after joke slaying away the unhappy demons.
The perfectly illustrated BIG Book of jokes is the result of a company-wide competition challenging the care teams who work for the company, and the people they support and care for, to curate and share their funniest jokes. The jokes were so funny that company MD, Adam Hutchison, decided to showcase them in the unique printed book and share them.
Adam Hutchison, Managing Director at Belmont Healthcare says: “During the year of 2020 the world, and certainly our world of care, was turned upside down with restrictions and sadness. We wanted to redress the balance and bring joy back into our lives.
“The jokes created so much laughter that it got me thinking, other people would too. We took it one step further and developed illustrated book characters Captain Belmont and friends to guide people through the book. I’m very proud to say it’s here just ready to create laughter, improve our moods and make us happy. ”
Now the perfect addition to the coffee tables of friends and family, the book is a real talking point and can be in your home too. Belmont Healthcare is offering you the opportunity to claim your own copy.
